Blog Post: PETA Wants Pig-Truck driver is loaded

Sent over long distances to slaughter without food or water is enough, but recently a reckless driver agonizing a transport cart tilted 235 pigs, 74 cases deaths and leaving seven others so distorted that police and workers killed them on the spot to get them out of their misery. A lot of pigs ago terrible injuries and trauma when they were thrown on a highway near Toronto. PETA has sent a letter ask Ontario authorities investigate further and, if it is clear, to load the driver, who was reportedly acceleration when he lost control of the truck — with cruelty to animals at reckless driving, the existing charge. Careless drivers of the pig industry should be held responsible for the suffering and gruesome deaths they cause. Read about our previous cases with Smithfield Foods truck accidents.

In the meantime, you can except other pigs from a terrible fate by insisting that everyone you know this sensitive and intelligent animals eat.
